Scotch Shortbread Cookies

This was a recipe from my Aunt. Her mother-in-law was Scottish. This was my Dad's favorite cookie.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Butter   Mix as pie dough.
12 Cup Sugar   Add 1 milk with baking soda dissolved in milk. May need more milk to hold together.
1 Tbsp Milk
14 tsp Baking Soda
2 12 Cup Flour
1 Dash Salt

On floured board, roll to 1/4" thick. Cut in shapes, for example, with a 1 1/2" - 2" cutter. Sprinkle and press in sugar. Bake 325 degrees 1--15 minutes until golden.
