|1⁄2||Cup||Butter||Mix thoroughly; Chocolate is melted and cooled.|
|1 3⁄4||Cup||Flour||Sift and stir in.|
|1||Cup||Nuts||Chopped, optional, stir in.|
|1||Ounce||Unsweetened Chocolate||Melt over hot water or microwave.|
|2||Tbsp||Water||Boiling. Blend in sugar. Stir in water until smooth.|
Chill cookie dough for at least one hour.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2" apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 400 degrees 8-10 minutes until no imprint remains when touched lightly. (Might have to set 385 to 390 degrees.) Frost with chocolate icing and decorate with nonpareil or other decorative sprinkles. As frosting thickens, add a few drops of boiling water.
